Reins (“the App”) is developed and maintained by İbrahim Çetin (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Reins is a client app for self-hosted Ollama instances.

We respect your privacy. The app is designed so that we do not collect or receive your personal data.

1. Data Collection and Storage

We do not collect, store, or monitor any personal data, chat history, or prompts.

  • Local Storage: All chat history, settings, and server configurations are stored locally on your device.
  • No Tracking: We do not use any analytics, tracking pixels, or telemetry to monitor your usage of the App.

2. Data Transmission to Third-Party AI Services

The App does not provide a built-in AI service. Instead, it acts as a bridge to a server provided by the user (typically a local Ollama instance).

  • User-Controlled Destination: Any data (such as prompts or images) entered into the App is sent directly to the server address (URL) that you explicitly provide in the settings.
  • No Intermediation: We do not sit in the middle of this connection. Data is transmitted directly from your device to your specified endpoint.
  • Third-Party Disclosure: The App does not share data with any third-party AI providers or external services.

By entering a server URL into the App settings and initiating a chat, you are providing explicit consent for the App to transmit your prompts to that specific destination.

  • You may revoke this at any time by clearing your server settings or deleting the App.
  • Reins will never send data to a third-party service without your direct input of a destination address.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
